Our Mission

St. Clement Parish School is an outstanding elementary school, kindergarten through eighth grade, in the Catholic Diocese of Oakland, California. Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Wichita and enriched by priests of the Holy Cross Congregation.

St. Clement provides a high quality, faith-based education within a caring community for economically and culturally diverse families. This Christian education addresses the needs of the whole child, encourages each to develop his/her unique skills and talents, to become a lifelong learner, to recognize the responsibility of service to the community, and to form a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 


Message from the Principal

 

Dear St. Clement School Family and Friends,
 
The one thing that brings families to St. Clement School time and time again is community. From our students to our teachers, from our pastor to our families, the importance of building a safe learning environment where people feel welcomed and appreciated has been the cornerstone of our school. During Catholic Schools Week, we shared this appreciation to the wider community during our Open House and Special Person's Day. At our Spring Concert and Auction, we enjoyed our extended families and raised money for summer repairs. Finally, we can't wait to welcome back into our community the alumni from years past during our 50th Anniversary Celebration next year. I am honored to be a member of St. Clement's community and to feel the warmth and love of the people around me.
